Senior Fundraising Manager

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Senior Fundraising Manager reports to the Chief Professional Officer and is responsible for the renewal and growth of the annual fund raising activities including major partner corporations and manages the identification, cultivation and solicitation of new Tocqueville/Leadership Donors from our prospecting lists and new business accounts. Additionally, the Senior Fundraising Manager plans and executes events, special initiatives and recognition to develop and cultivate prospective and current donors.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops strategic Account Plans for major accounts and manages three full time and two part time employees with assigned companies/organizations year round to significantly maximize corporate, employee and special event revenues in each account and their portfolio as a whole.
  • Manages major fundraising projects, as assigned by the Chief Professional Officer and recommends new and/or efficient methods of business operations, generating solutions to departmental issues and challenges.
  • Establish, oversee and analyze campaign goals, projections and pledge information through a variety of campaign reports.
  • Evaluates results of each company campaign and individual giving to develop corrective and/or improved strategies and tactics for the next campaign.
  • Builds and manages key relationships year round within all assigned accounts.
  • Analyzes Andar and Donor Perfect campaign reports in a timely manner to troubleshoot and make adjustments to each account.
  • Orients, supervises and monitors the progress of three Fundraising Managers and assigned Loaned Executives to maximize the dollars raised.
  • Acts as an interface with other UWMC departments on behalf of United Way of the DuPage Area.
  • Participates in Leadership Giving Projects and works collaboratively with UWMC Tocqueville/Leadership giving staff to grow major individual gifts to the United Way.
  • Manages and recruits volunteers/donors with CPO for the Campaign Cabinet.
  • Requires flexibility to work some non-traditional hours and some travel throughout the DuPage County Area - must
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and/or equivalent of employment and education experience.
  • At least five years work experience in a related field with major gift fundraising or account management background preferred.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fully proficient and experienced in latest version of Microsoft Office Environment (Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Fully proficient in Access is desirable).
  • Fully proficient in Andar usage is desirable.
  • Utilizes creative customer focused service skills to achieve desired results.
  • Demonstrates ability to work as a team player in group or other related projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and build relationships.
  • Donor Perfect knowledge a plus; but will train.
