Money Smart Week
DuPage Money Smart Week is a series of free, educational classes and activities promoting financial education. Beginning April 18th and going through the 25th, over 30 programs designed to help consumers learn how to manage their personal finances will be offered throughout the DuPage area. Money Smart Week Chicago is offering 450 programs across the Chicago area.
This event, coordinated by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, began in Chicago in 2002 with 44 programs and has now expanded to hundreds of programs offered in a variety of languages across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan. The week’s courses cover a variety of topics targeting children, seniors, future homebuyers, individuals with credit troubles and those simply looking to wisely manage their money.
